LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4)– Dozens of K9 teams put their sniffing skills to the test this week.
The ATF hosted a National Odor Recognition Test in Longmont. The three-day program allows bomb-sniffing dogs to test their ability to recognize 10 different explosive odors.
Dog handlers also have an opportunity to improve their training.
Twenty-one agencies from six states participated in the event.
